Project Description

The project was constructed on the former site of the Rotherham Greyhound Track

It constructed of two pairs of four bedroom semi-detached houses and one pair of three bedroom semi-detached houses.  All houses were two and a half storeys.

They were built in a traditional manner but also incorporated Silent floor joists and attic trusses.

Challenges

The site investigation showed that the site was located over a geological fault.

It was therefore necessary to using grouting technology to stabilise the ground prior to construction of the dwellings.
