Phase One consisting of extensions, alterations and refurbishment has been successfully handed over with very positive feedback from the client, its staff and patients.

The building now provides a superb environment in which the patients can recuperate within beautiful new gardens, complete with an aromatic camomile lawn.
Phase Two is now in progress with completion expected in December 2011.

Challenges

The site is steeply sloping, so careful design was undertaken to ensure the homes had adequate garden space which was usable. The nature of the site also meant that retaining walls were constructed throughout.
