Project Description
The construction of extensions and the complete refurbishment of the existing hall to provide modern eco-friendly facilities. The scheme also included the installation of a ground source heat pump which involved drilling to a depth of 90 meters to obtain heat energy from the core.
Challenges
The commencement of the project coincided with the worst weather Britain had experienced in 50 years. Heavy snow and ice which covered the whole of the UK lead to a near two week delay in starting the contract. Despite these difficulties, O&P completed the project to schedule by altering our allocation of resources, and finding new ways of completing certain critical path items.
