Construction of Creswell Cricket Club Multi-Functional Sports Pavilion.                    

Project Description

New build of a multi-functional sports pavilion on the boundaries of Creswell cricket clubs pitch. The construction of this new privately funded project consists of strip foundation footings with pad foundation piers,  concrete power floated floors, top hat roof trusses, a dormer window, tile floored changing and shower areas leading into a large club room with connective bar and kitchen areas.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   

Challenges

Throughout a harsh winter where extreme weather conditions made it nearly impossible to carry out any works and made access roads difficult to use as illustrated by the struggle of the delivery lorry for the roof trusses. O & P Construction Services Ltd successfully managed to install the roof prior to Christmas and ensure the new building was water tight. This ensured that the following operations were complete on programme and the club house was ready for its grand opening mid-April.
