Construction of fifteen apartments at the High Street, Dodworth, Barnsley

Project Description

The construction of a block of six apartments over two storeys, and a block of nine apartments over three storeys.

These were built in a traditional manner with stone facades and artstone.

Challenges

The developer, who employed us to build the apartments, was constructing four bungalows at the bottom of what was a small site. We had control over site security and the site entrance. Deliveries and materials had to be carefully planned and stored to ensure a material build up did not occur, which would affect site access and logistics, and to ensure materials did not get miss-placed.
