Project Description
The construction of twelve flats in three blocks of four, over two storeys.
Built in traditional cavity walling, with a mixture of brick facades and colour through render.
Challenges
Japanese Knotweed was found to be present locally to one end of the site.
This involved specialist treatment and revisions to the foundations local to the Knotweed. This involved in deepening the foundations to three metres deep and installation of root barrier.
