Contract Award – O&P Construction secures £470,000 Richard Newman Phase 2 Contract
O&P Construction have secured the £470,000 Richard Newman Phase 2 contract. The project includes extensive refurbishment, remodeling and alterations to staff and pupil facilities, to provide a modern learning environment. Start on site is expected early May 2010, and is programmed to complete early November 2010. O&P Construction successfully completed Richard Newman School Phase 1 in September 2009.

O&P Construction have secured the £330,000 contract to refurbish and alter Darfield School. The project, which includes external canopies, is expected to commence in Mid May 2010, and complete October 2010.

Contract Award – Mappin Building, Sheffield University
O&P Construction have won the £400,000 contract to refurbish and alter science laboratories at Sheffield University’s Sir Frederick Mappin Building.
The alterations will create new prestige office space.
Project Complete - Refurbishment and alterations to the South stand at Barnsley Football Club to create a multi-functional Youth Facility for Children in Barnsley
The conversion of a void under the South Stand of Barnsley Football Club to provide state of the art facilities for local young people. Works included creating a recording studio, media room, stage and installation of audio visual equipment. New suspended ceilings, floor coverings, toilet facilities, kitchen and entrance were also completed.

Project Complete - Firbeck Village Hall
The construction of extensions and the complete refurbishment of the existing hall to provide modern eco-friendly facilities. The scheme also included the installation of a ground source heat pump which involved drilling to a depth of 90 meters to obtain heat energy from the core.
