Project Description
The construction of three single storeys traditionally built extensions to form a new Entrance Reception, Main Office, Classrooms, IT Suite and Headmistress Office.
The project also included the construction of a steel canopy to the entrance of the school, and landscaping and low level fencing, seen here on the right.
Challenges
The works meant that the Main Office and the Headmistress Office would be out of action from the onset of the project.
To over come this, we provided a cabin for the Headmistress and Office Staff to use.
BT fibre optic cabling was located in the areas where groundworks were taking place. Extensive site to office communication was required, allowing us to ensure that almost daily exposure of existing services, did not affect the critical path, ensuring the job was completed on time.
Client Testimonial
"The staff and governors of the school were pleased with all aspects of the work, and especially the role of Contracts Manager Andy Marshall, who managed the project so professionally. Despite the majority of the work being carried out whilst the school was in session, it was conducted with consideration. Thank you"......Angela Heald
