Project Description
Working as Subcontractors to Laing O' Rourke on this RDASH NHS Trust Project, we have successfully completed the alteration work and refurbishment of Orchard View to create a superb new specialist Mental Health Unit providing a modern, secure and safe environment for patients.
Challenges
Throughout this busy project co-ordination was key with Laing O’ Rourke’s selected mechanical and electrical contractors. It was vital that works were carried out in the correct sequence to achieve a smooth construction process and to ensure that the works were completed in sequence with the new PICU building.
Specialist anti- ligature door, window handles and fittings were installed to ensure the safety of the future patients.
