O&P Construction recognize that our projects impact the environment we operate in globally, but also locally in our day to day operations in communities across South Yorkshire. We place great emphasis in reducing the waste we produce, and the energy we use. This is an integral feature of our strategy of sustainable growth and development in the coming years. Our supply chain management strategy places an emphasis on sourcing materials from sustainable sources and ecologically responsible suppliers, with all our timber being sourced from companies with PEFC Certification. Several of our social housing schemes achieved a BRE rating of ‘very good' under the EcoHomes Quality Assurance Assessment. We are fully conversant with Environmental legislation and use the BRE site waste management plan to formulate our ‘on site' waste systems. We aim to have all aspects of our business certified to the international standard for environmental management systems (ISO14001) within the next 12 months.
