Project Description
The construction of an eco friendly Village Hall, to provide a range of community facilities to benefit the local community.
This included an air source heat pump and rainwater recycling.
The project also included a new adoptable standard access road and car-park.
Challenges
The project incorporated a large number of highly technical aspects in order to ensure an environmentally friendly building.
To achieve this, required careful co-ordination between the many specialist trades to ensure all services integrated correctly with each other, and the building as a whole.
Effective planning, programming and critical path analysis was required to ensure that the contract was completed on time.
