The project comprised of the refurbishment to internal and external spaces to provide new accommodation for a disabled person.
Works included the following:-
Excavation and drainage works, demolition of internal wall and doors, concrete and masonry works, electrical, plumbing and joinery works, new sanitary ware, internal decoration and finishing.
The project was carried out while our clients remained in the property. An external wash pod was provided with a direct link to the temporary downstairs bedroom.
Daily liaison between our site manager our clients was vital to ensure they were fully aware of work activities and no access zones.
Works work carefully screened off and access egress routes provided for client and carers/visitor etc.
We needed to be flexible and adapt our working schedules to work around access requirements.
This approach led to a great working relationship and a quality project delivered on time and on budget.
