Project Description

The works consist of the complete refurbishment of the main Boys & Girls toilets to the school.

The refurbishment is designed to prevent bullying in the schools. This is achieved by having individual cubicles complete with w/c, wash hand basin and a hand dryer. Walls were floor to ceiling; the layout was designed to enable teachers to prevent bullying.

This project carried great pressure as these are the only toilets that all three hundred students in the school can access.

It was vital that no delays were incurred to enable the school to function normally upon the pupils return. A few unfeasible issues arose including a specification problem discovered at a late stage and almost impossible to rectify within the six weeks holidays.

This was overcome by rapid, clear communication and decisions followed by a well organised over load of man power to ensure the project was completed on time allowing pupils to make the transition back into ordinary school routine.
